Or cystals these are an interetsing way of contacting spirit even with there limited response range they are a good way to gain first contact with spirit.

EMF Meters

Electro-magnetic field meters good for finding eletirical soruces and in the lower ranges possible spirit activeity they say that we all give of an electro-magnetic field includeing spirit .

Temperature guns

Great for takeing temperature readings to check for cold spots or hotspots that can be created by spirit activeity.

Sound Recorders

Any type of sound reorder will do we favour mp3,s or digital dictaphones

they are good left alone in empty places and can be download straight to computer and listen to for any EVP.

Camera,s

Digal camera,s are a must for any investigation ive seen some great old 35mm stuff but its to easy to fake and digital can be put striaght onto pc and viewed.

Torches

Alot of places you may want to investigate will be dark and damp a torch is there for your own safety as well as others.

Most of what you see here is the basic equipment a team would use on an investigation there are alot more gadgets you can bring in to use but i find that the best tools we all have for an investigation are our eyes ears and noses we use them every day and they are the best way of finding out if someing is wrong or has changed. Also alot of teams forget to record there findings a notebook and pencil or pen is the best way make one person the note taker for that night and get them to log everything that happens dont forget to add in the time and person it happened too And please also remember your own safety the venues you go into maybe dark or run down always take a first aid kit with you.
